Creating a new zone

To create a new zone, go to the ‘Zones’ tab and click the ‘Create new' button.

This will lead you to the page where you can type the name of the new zone that you’re willing to create. After specifying the name of the zone, please click the ‘Create’ button.

After creating a new zone, you may find it in the list of Zones in ‘Zones’ tab.

Uploading new version of the zone

To upload a new version of the zone, please go to the ‘Zones’ tab and click the ‘Load version’ button in the field of the needed zone.

This will lead you to the page where you can upload the .zip archive of the updated zone version and provide the description for it (the ‘Version description’ field). After doing this, click the ‘Create’ button to upload it.

Description will help you identify the version in the list of versions later. If you don’t provide a description, it will be desplayed as ‘no description’ but you still will be able to identify it by the date

After uploading is finished, the new version of the zone will be available in the list of zone versions.

Assigning zones to places

In order to do that, you need to go to the ‘Places’ tab and click the ‘Zones’ button in a specific Place that you need to set up or edit.

This will lead you to the specific Place page, where you can find a list of active zones (empty on the screen below, which means that no zones are connected to this Place yet) and a list of available zones to add to this Place.

When clicking on the zone that you’re willing to add to this Place, you will see the list of versions of this zone. Please choose the one that you need.

After choosing the needed version of the zone, click the ‘Add zone’ button to add it to the Place. After adding all the needed zone, don’t forget to click the ‘Save zones’ button to save the changes.

After that, you can see all the added zone in the ‘Active zones’ section of the page.

After adding all the needed zones and saving the changes, go back to the ‘Places’ page and restar the edited place. To do so, please click the ‘Pause’ button in the field of the needed Place, wait for several second and then click the ‘Resume’ button.

When the Place gets the ‘ready’ Status, all the zones are synced and updated in it, meaning that you can check it in VR already.

Please wait until the status of the zone version becomes ‘ready’, that’s when you’re. able to add it to the Place.
